Minimal stay

A minimal stay is two nights, at New Years Eve the minimum stay is three nights.

Included

Electricity, water and firewood are free of charge, as well as bedlinen, towels and the final cleaning of your apartment as long as you leave the apartment clean and tidy. If you don't want to clean, the price for final cleaning is € 25. The use of the outdoor kitchen with stove and oven is inclusive. We don't charge extra administration or booking costs.

Childen

All children until 2 years are charged EUR 5 per night. We have children's cots/cribs available
All further older children or adults are charged EUR 20 per night.

Check-in and check-out

The check-in time is 15 o'clock; check-out time is 11 o'clock.

Rental conditions

We send you an email to confirm your booking. A booking will be held for 14 days until a deposit of 30% is made. 70% has to be deposited 6 weeks in advance of the booked date. If there is less time between the reservation and the booked date, the total amount has to be deposited immediately after our confirmation of booking. You will receive payment instructions by email.

Cancellation

The deposit is non-refundable on cancellation. We recommend that you take out appropriate holiday insurance covering you against illness, injury, and loss or damage to luggage. This insurance should also cover the possibility of your having to cancel your holiday for whatever reason. Cancellations on our part are fully refundable. You travel to our Quinta at your own risk; we do not accept any liability for any loss or injury however caused.

Welcome hamper We have a welcome hamper available on request, consisting of coffee, tea, milk, bread, butter, a Serra da Estrela cheese, marmelade, sugar, eggs, juice, half a bottle of regional red wine and half a bottle of regional white wine, and peanuts. Price: 30 euro
Extra bed We offer an extra bed in case you want to sleep separate for € 20,00 per week or shorter. Clean bed linen and cushens are included.
Pool towels Pool towels are for rent for € 1,00 per person per day.
Laundry We can do your laundry for € 6,50 per 5 kg. The sorting is up to you.
Extra cleaning Your apartment is clean on arrival. An extra cleaning during your holiday with us is possible for € 25,00.
Wellness & Sauna In the spring of 2013 Quinta da Moenda extended her guest services with the addition of a sauna. Carved in to the base of mountain slate you will find our new wellness area where you can relax and warm your muscles after a hiking tour or just leave the day behind you. The wellness area is a self-contained area with direct access to the stimulating salt-water swimming pool and sun terrace. All overlooking the natural beauty of the river Alvoco as it winds it’s way. The tranquil atmosphere includes your own private bathroom with shower and of course a pitcher of fresh iced lemon water to replenish you. We have arranged the wellness area so that you have exclusive and private use of the sauna during your booked 3-hour period. Therefore giving you plenty of time to unwind and spend time with your loved one or family and friends. The costs are: A morning, an afternoon, or evening, each lasting 3 hours, extensions optional: € 17,50 per person, an extension hourly based € 5,00. Robe set: bath-robe, large and medium towel and flip-flops € 6,50 pp.
